We have an astounding opportunity for a Vice President of Finance/Controller to join one of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in the ARM industry. In this role you will report directly to the CEO and you will play an important role in developing financial strategy. As a key leader in the organization, you will oversee all financial reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivables, taxes and treasury functions and annual financial statement audits. As a two-year old entrepreneurial company with $10m in annual revenue, we offer an excellent opportunity for the right person to utilize their strong financial, analytical and reporting skills along with their knowledge of Accounting principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation
Provide senior management with financial information and assurances as to the finance department’s controls, procedures and adherence to accounting principles (GAAP)
Manage the continued development of our operating plan and modeling tools, financial forecasting, and budgeting
Oversee relationships with external bank(s) and complete required periodic reporting
Direct treasury functions and ensure completion of cash management and cash flow projection reports
Manage and ensure the proper resources are deployed to guarantee the completion of all accounting and finance functions:
Maintenance of the General Ledger supporting all Financials
Client accounting with proper adherence to client specifications
Payment processing ensure adequate controls and balances
Reporting and Analysis for management discussion and decision
Oversee the timely filing of state and agency reporting requirements
Evaluate internal controls on a periodic basis
Required Qualifications
5 years of progressive corporate finance management along with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major is required. MBA a plus
Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics
Previous hands on Controller experience
Management / leadership experience is expected
Excellent analytical and strategic skills
Deadline driven and extremely well organized
Ability to multi-task effectively and manage a team
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information |
