Mission/Job Scope: The Treasury Analyst I is responsible for performing Sales Audit activities for the Company’s 950+ retail locations. They will perform reconciliations and analysis of assigned accounts and use independent judgment to resolve issues and propose enhancements to existing Sales Audit processes and procedures. The Treasury Analyst I will perform departmental compliance activities as well as data trending and analytical programs. Responsibilities: Responsible for the reconciliation of sales data. Perform Sales Audit activities including but not limited to monitoring and analysis of system edits, over/shorts, customer liabilities, cancellations, etc. Research and resolve any out of balance situations Prepare related journal entries, reconciliations and analysis of assigned accounts and use independent judgment to resolve issues Coordinate the escheatment of unclaimed customer liabilities Generate and analyze reporting to support the performance of departmental compliance activities and data trending / analytic programs Prepare recommendations and project/improvement proposals for review Participate in the training of Sales Audit related functions with customer service, retail locations Participate in special projects including the testing and validation of system upgrades impacting our G/L, POS and banking systems Daily customer service w/ customers, stores, and credit card vendors regarding billing discrepancies Retrieve and process charge back requests Identify improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting (or similar field) 1 year of sales audit or similar experience in retail, EComm/Omni or similar multi-location industry required; public company experience preferred Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and MS Access, and ability to navigate through financial systems; experience with high volume transaction matching tools (e.g., Alteryx) a plus Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with various levels of management and external/internal groups Customer service skills Ability to balance attention to details while managing competing priorities Ability to work independently, with capability of exercising initiative and independent judgment Exhibits enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity, reliability, and curiosity
