| Job Description : | STAFF ACCOUNTANTJob Scope OverviewThis position seeks a Staff Accountant who is capable to assist in the accounting function within a $60 million company. The Staff Accountant position is a key accounting position and will be expected to be a value added participant in closing the monthly financials and supporting the Controller in reporting and analytics. The Staff Accountant is expected to produce accurate and timely reconciliations, assist in weekly and monthly report creation, and assist troubleshooting within the various systems. The Staff Accountant will also be expected to support the Controller in maintaining a system of internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and ensure corporate policies are being followed.Current Job ResponsibilitiesPerform account reconciliations across multiple bank accountsPerform weekly cash depositsPerform weekly and monthly reconciliations of Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts to ensure successful month end close and reportingPerform weekly and monthly reconciliations of inter-company transactionsVarious month end journal entries and analysisManage a Fixed Assets SystemThis position: Seeks a candidate who has a strong work ethic (Get-It- Done attitude), hands-on, and who is enthused about working in a collaborative team environmentSeeks a candidate with the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
