| Job Description : | An experienced Senior Staff Accountant to focus on general ledger accounting. They are responsible for independently performing routine and complex aspects of a variety of accounting functions and general ledger activities, requiring a working knowledge of SaaS accounting and a strong knowledge of GAAP.The ideal candidate has excellent problem solving skills, is a strong communicator, thrives on process improvement and enjoys working in a challenging, high tech environment to support our continued success. The Senior Staff Accountant must take initiative to solve or maintain complex tasks that are routinely done with minimal direct supervision. This is a key position in our growing finance organization.What You’ll DoRecord journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processesDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Perform detailed financial statement analysis, including discussions on various issues, analysis, preparation and review of account reconciliationsPreparation of fluctuation analyses and performance of financial statements analytics, providing relevant explanations for fluctuations provided to senior managementCoordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departmentsBe a US GAAP technical accounting resource by providing guidance, performing research and preparing accounting memosWork closely with the Manager to build out new processes and structure addressing and improving the month end close processesMust – HavesBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years accounting/ accounting experienceAbility to research and resolve technical accounting issuesExperience working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities, with the ability to set and meet deadlinesComprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting under US GAAPStrong organizational, analytical and problem solving skillsAttention to detail and highly motivated/proactiveExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Seeking in-house CPA/ Accounting Head/Bookkeeping Head to handle books for various owned LLC’s, along with preparing entity tax returns as well as personal.
