Job Opening for Sales Tax Manager, Laderach N. America in Laderach USA (750 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022)

We are seeking a Tax Manager to assist with various indirect tax functions, planning, compliance functions, and all tax matters. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the compliance reporting process for state indirect tax, property tax, and business licenses to ensure all reporting obligations are filed accurately and timely.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage U.S. indirect tax compliance with an external service provider to ensure accurate and timely filing of sales & use tax returns
Maintain tax calendars of US Indirect tax, property tax, business licenses, and other ad hoc tax related payments
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for sales & use tax, property tax and other non-income tax accounts to ensure accuracy
Assist on sales & use, gross receipts and property tax audits and reviews through data collection and research support.
Point of contact for business partner inquiries from Sales and AR/AP departments.
Respond to all tax notices and IDR requests
Monitor tax changes and legislative US tax updates
Responsible for new jurisdiction registrations
Manage voluntary disclosure agreement and business registration
Review and validation of tax exemption certificates
Partner with cross functional groups throughout the company to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensure tax needs are identified, considered and communicated.
Assist with special tax projects and initiatives as required

SKILLS

Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge; strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
Familiarity with U.S. federal, state and local reporting requirements
Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience
Proficient in PayChex and ADP
CPA Certification (preferred)
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
