Job Title: Real Estate Tax Valuations Analyst Company: Prologis Position Summary: The Real Estate Tax Analyst will be an integral member of the Real Estate Tax Group that is responsible for the management of real estate tax globally. Overall, this position will provide support for assessment appeals, budgets/tax projections, and various compliance issues related to Real Estate Tax. Position Responsibilities: Real Estate Tax Appeals and Budgets: Assist with the preparation, update, and review of valuation and assessment data Utilize all approaches to value (income, cost, market, and equity) as needed to assist in property tax appeal review Collect and review comparable municipal property tax assessment data to assist with appeal analysis and annual budgets Support in the coordination and management of 3rd party consultants Assist in the property tax annual budgeting process, forecast adjustments and new construction/acquisition projections Monitor new construction and major improvements to existing facilities to determine the impact on assessed values and annual budgets Review 3rd party provider invoices for accuracy Compliance and General Task: Assist with maintaining and updating Itamlink property tax database Develop and maintain strong working relationship with assessing jurisdictions Performs research projects on the following but not limited to title policy review, jurisdiction tax policies and property re-parceling Identify and contribute to process improvement Assume additional responsibilities as needed Essential Skills & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, accounting, or equivalent related experience A background in property valuation, finance, accounting, or similar 3+ years of multi-state property tax and assessment experience preferred Experience using Yardi Voyager and Itamlink Property Tax Management system a plus Familiar with the income, cost, market/sales, and equity approaches to values Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to research and familiarize with a variety of procedures in different jurisdictions Ability to tactfully address tax disputes Customer service and team player mentality All full-time roles in the US come with a robust benefits package which includes healthcare, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
