Type: Full Time
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required, CPA or CMA preferred.
We are hiring for a Real Estate Accountant for our home office in Wayne, PA.
Pay & Benefits
$70,000-$80,000/annually, $1,000 sign on bonus, and on the 1st of the month, following only 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for:

Role & Responsibilities
As the Real Estate accountant your responsibilities will include:
Process all recurring and repair escrows, and property lender held reserve requests.
Assist Accounting Managers with timely financial statement preparation and distribution.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
Maintain and update intercompany affiliate spreadsheet to ensure management company is reimbursed from properties for all expenses paid.
Process all 1099 filings.
Balance Sheet and bank reconciliations.
Maintain and ensure accuracy of various accounting schedules.
Execute required journal entries for monthly and yearly financial cycles.
Create monthly owner report packages.
Oversee the general and vendor information disbursements for the department.
Provide support to field locations.
Special projects and duties as assigned.
About You
You might be a great fit for this role if you have:
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and be able to cope under pressure.
Ability to discreetly handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
Strong interpersonal skills.
High level computer skills, especially Excel, but not limited to MS Word, Outlook, as well as the ability to learn to operate Company-specific software.
