Federal Income Tax Accountant
Wayne, NJ (Hybrid OR remote capabilities offered!)
3-6 Month Consulting Role

A Day in the Role:
Prepare federal income tax returns, including the reporting of cross-border transactions
Prepare multi-state income tax returns, including state apportionment schedules
Gather and reconcile data between new and legacy accounting systems
Analyze, research and reconcile data for renditions prior to filing
Run reports in SAP and reconcile discrepancies
Compare 2022 reporting to 2021 filing
Assist with tax audits

Core Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Similar Field
2-5+ Years of experience handling income tax returns in a corporate accounting setting
2-5+ Years of tax accounting experience
Excellent Microsoft Office & Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) for reporting
Proficient within a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Workday, etc.
Proficient within a tax software such as Vertex, One Source, etc.
