The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and management of the SAP software at this facility in conjunction with corporate accounting in Philadelphia. Using SAP, you will then provide detailed costs analysis highlighting areas for improvements in processes, systems, efficiencies and cost reductions reports to management to aid in ensuring the continued profitability of the facility. Collecting and analyzing data in SAP pertaining to Inventory and Operational Costs across the business units within the Tracy Manufacturing facility. Assist with the successful conversion from QuickBooks accounting to SAP in the Tracy facility. Establish cost accounting function, processes, and controls Directly support the Plant Operations team for all financial and accounting requirements Represent Finance as first point of contact at plant location Represent Finance as on-site ERP system implementation specialist Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports Participate in periodic physical inventory counts Coordinate on-site audit work performed by outside accounting firm Maintain standard costs and inventory valuation Analyze variances, trace to root cause, and derive corrective action as needed Maintain effective communication between plant and Headquarters Finance Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Provides support and serve as liaison to project managers Examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries. Report to management regarding the finances of the Tracy Facility Develop, maintain, or analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Eventually work in collaboration with local accounting team for AP & AR at Tracy facility. |
