OVERVIEW:
Are you an enthusiastic Staff Accountant that is a disciplined self-starter looking for a partially remote position in the Tampa Bay area? If you answered yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! The company is an established, privately held company, located in Elmhurst, IL and offices in Tampa.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Cash Balancing.
Profit/Loss Analysis.
Monthly General Ledger Journal Entries.
Monthly Preparations of Financial Statements.
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
General Ledger Analysis.
Preparing documentation for external auditors.
Cross training with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Assisting with Annual SOC1 Audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
1 – 3 years’ experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products and Accounting Software, Sage a plus.
Detail oriented.
Knowledge of Transportation Industry helpful.
Strong communication skills.
