||The position of Controller is responsible for maximizing return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. The Controller serves as a point of contact for the Hospitals and VMS/MSP programs and is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service and management of receivables and payables. In addition, they will develop relationships with prospective and existing vendors to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. The Controller works any day-to-day project leadership activities including collaborating with vendors, account managers, and admin team members to form new ideas and new business prospects.The successful candidate will have solid hospital and vendor account management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, the potential to design and implement temporary-permanent solutions, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams throughout the nation.Description: Helps with establishing processes and implementing strategies on business financials and keeping an accurate bookkeeping system.Protects assets by establishing, monitoring internal financials.Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors and company CEO.Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances; making investments.Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results based on the duties of the admin team.Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Assists in new business development (proposal development, meetings, and presentations)Communicates the client’s goals, project requirements, and represent the client’s interests to the team to ensure client expectations are met and managed.Be responsible for all client communication, understanding client goals and interests, and discussing project requirements with clients.Works closely with the CEO to maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.Assists in creating and monitoring adherence to project plans/budgetsCoordinates with colleagues in other departments for ensuring efficient workflow.Ensures clients are regularly informed of project status and maintain clear communication with clients to ensure client needs are met and any issues are resolved.Cold calls prospective clients in a specific industry and develop new leads and vendor accounts via creative business development strategies.Develops strong understanding of company capabilities and services, and effectively communicates offerings to the client.Composes or generates a variety of materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, manuals, trade show materials, etc.) for documenting activities, training, providing written reference and/or conveying information regarding the status of projects, etc.Helps with cross training into payroll and understanding the extensive payroll process. Ability to back up payroll team as needed.Serves as the dedicated specialist for state taxes and state registrations. Maintains records of all passwords and logins for state taxes and registration accounts. Handles all and any issues that arise and contacts state departments on tax issues. Follows up with accountant as needed.Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivablesHandles all funding and invoicesManages all rental cars, establishes rates with rental car companies, handles all housing leases, and is responsible for all payments and collecting all deposits back.Helps with answering phones as needed and can help with office duties as needed.Establishes a shipping account for company and be able to manager all Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS drop offs or pick-ups as neededHandles all banking deposits and establishes rapport with company accountant and bankers.Other duties as assigned that can pertain to any admin or office duties.QualificationsMinimum 2-5 years of experience as a controller in a high-volume capacityExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsPrior experience in managing complex negotiations and contracts a plusExcellent planning, organizational, and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishIndependent, self-motivated, results-oriented, and dynamicAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectivelyExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsAbility to quickly adapt to change and be able to establish policies and procedures quickly and as neededAdditional Compensation:BonusesCommissionBenefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offFlexible scheduleJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (Required)Controller: 3 years (Required)Medical Staffing Industry: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
