RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce’s client, a world class public traded growing health care company in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking an Associate Finance Manager, External Reporting. The role will be hybrid.
Summary:
The Associate Finance Manager will have high visibility within the global finance organization including interaction and exposure to the Senior Director, External Reporting, VP Finance/Accounting, Human Resources and General Counsel, and will work cross-functionally with other teams across the organization. Responsibilities:
In this role, the Associate Finance Manager will assist with preparation of SEC reporting documents (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, proxy filings, follow on equity offerings)
Ownership of stock-based compensation and earnings per share reporting, including expense and share forecasting
Partner with FP&A for monthly and quarterly management reporting
Assist with preparation of SEC reporting documents (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, proxy filings, follow on equity offerings)
Work across the organization to prepare detailed footnote support files
As an Associate Finance Manager, you will assist in the review of the quarterly earnings release and support Investor Relations on quarterly earnings materials
Coordinate with external auditors to successfully support quarterly reviews and the annual audit
Collaborate with other members of finance in providing accounting guidance on complex and unusual transactions as needed
Participate in the month end close
Other ad hoc projects as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA required
Minimum of 4 years of progressive professional experience in large public accounting firm with SEC clients, and/or industry experience at a public company with SEC reporting responsibilities
Familiarity with XBRL
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including stock-based compensation accounting is a plus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to interact with all levels of management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
