| Job Description : | We seek an Accounting Manager to support the Company’s growth. This newly created role will manage our accounts receivable team, lead our annual audit process, and act as the Interim Controller for a recent acquisition. Trafera is a leader in the Educational Technology Marketplace for hardware and services. The Company is well positioned to take advantage of growth in the E-learning and educational technology markets. We are looking for an individual who has experience in public accounting, GAAP regulations and general accounting concepts while possessing desire to broaden their accounting leadership skills. This role will be onsite at the corporate office in St. Paul and will offer hybrid after training is completed. Responsibilities Act as the Interim Controller for a recent acquisition leading all day-to-day financial responsibilities for the business. Manage all accounts receivable activities, including but not limited to customer credit line approval, account reconciliations and collections. Lead the annual financial statement audit and assist with annual bank audits. Collaborate with other departments in the company to drive process improvements across all areas of responsibility. Prepare & file multiple state sales & use tax returns: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, as required. Manage vendor W9 collection and 1099 preparation. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills. Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills. Possess well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills. Must be result and profit oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projects. Must be highly motivated and function independently. Must be detail oriented. Ability to manage and direct employees. Ability to resolve employee conflicts, problems, and complaints Expert computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook Experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial is a plus Required/Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, combined with 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance; MBA, CFA or CPA is a plus.
