| Job Description : | Overview of Position:The AP/AR Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle through management, implementation of all accounts payable, and accounts receivable procedures and functions for the entire payable and collection process.Education and requirements· Bachelor’s degree related business field Accounting or Finance· 5 years of work experience and supervisory exposure in managing a team· Excellent communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal)· Self-motivated, problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.· Advanced computer skills using a variety of software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Quick Books, Reconciliation.· Must be detail-oriented, focused on accuracy and meeting deadlines, highly organized, confidential and self-motivated.ResponsibilitiesSupervises the work of AR and AP staff, sets performance standards, conducts employee evaluation, counsel’s staff regarding work rulesEnsures that all timecards are approved in ADP, any discrepancies address with departmental managers, validated and process payroll including processing bonuses, commissions, etc., pull payroll register out of ADP and drop appropriately in QuickBooksReviews Accounting Activities, including accounting transactions and work performed by the accounting team and reports prepared by the AFL accounting teamPrepares various Accounting Reports requested by CEO, Department Managers, or Tentamus North America Accounting TeamResponsible for accurate payment and accounting for payables and managing vendor and customer escalationsDevelops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, policies, training materials for AP and AR processes to ensure adherence to AFL guidelinesResponsible for maintaining relationships with the key internal and external management teamWork closely with other departments to resolve issues efficiently and effectivelyOversee AP, create weekly AP Schedule, ensure we stay caught up with paymentOversee collection process, correspondence, and collection of doubtful accountsOversee AR staff assuring all Invoices are correctly processed and mailed to customers on timeResponsible for providing customer service regarding collections issues, customer refunds, process, and review account adjustments, resolve discrepancies and short payments.Assist in Audit inquiries work with CPA, Tax Accounting group, Tentamus North America Financial Director, and Senior Accountant.Interact at all levels in the organization from Executives to staffPerform other duties as necessary or assignedJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Grand Prairie, TX 75050: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
