||Job SummaryG&C Contracting services is a construction and renovations firm that specializes in the multifamily market. We are seeking a potential CPA to oversee the umbrella of all bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, AP- AR for a diversified company portfolio.Certified Public Accountant / Bookkeeper. Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly P&L financial statementsMonthly and Quarterly BOFCReconciliationsManage and update company’s budgetsManage and review multiple departments individual budgetsManage payroll extensivelyMaanage taxes of multiple company portfolios· Interact with clients for payment status, invoicing and credit issues· Accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions· Track monthly general ledger expenses for accuracy and anomalies· Track and process weekly payroll reports· Prepare travel expense reports and reimbursements· Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss and other financial statements to summarize company current and projected financial decisions to be discussed during monthly financial meeting· Support monthly accounting close· Recommend and implement changes to improve accounting processes and procedures· Maintain office supplies, utilities, and functions· Prepare subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement· Schedule routine meetings with CPA· Interact with internal and external customers via phone, email and in person with timely follow up· Organize and maintain required company documents and save to company specified cloud storage· When needed, work with estimator to secure pricing for repairs and supply client with those estimates· Perform other general administrative duties as needed· Responsibilities are subject to change to meet the needs of the client and or G&CQualifications, Skills, & Knowledge Requirements· 2+ years of Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis/related work experience or equivalent combination of related training and experience.
