Job Opening for 100% remote Staff Accountant for exciting fintech in SF in Robert Half (San Francisco, CA 94103)

What you get to do every day

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Bank reconciliations, processing statements, managing customer cash
Work with large data sets on Excel
Responsible for COGS
With a good business sense flag any fees that seem out of place effectively

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlooksups, pivot tables)
Proficiency in bank reconciliations
Sage Intacct experience (huge plus!)
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Knowledgeable of ERP systems (netsuite, oracle, Intacct)
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
